Welcome to Mounds View Community Theatre's 26th production. Our special strength is presenting grand scale, high quality musicals. All efforts go into one stupendous production run each summer. We are proud to announce that this year's production will be an all-time favorite, GREASE

GREASE, by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, is the all-American musical, based on the sub-cultures of high school life in the 1950s. The show takes place at the hyperactive Rydell High School, where Danny Zuko fronts his gang - the raucous T-Birds - who romance their sassy female equivalents - the Pink Ladies. When "good-girl" Sandy Dumbrowski arrives in town, the Pink Ladies take her under their collective wing.

The Mounds View School District has generously allowed us to use stages in their schools each summer. We encompass the District's suburbs which include: Arden Hills, Mounds View, New Brighton, North Oaks, Roseville, Shoreview and Vadnais Heights. In addition, we draw staff, volunteers, and patrons from the entire metro area.

As with any endeavor of this size it takes many people to bring our shows to the stage. Some volunteers are involved year round, some for the last months before the performances begin, and some for only one performance. Choose your own way to keep theatre thriving in the community by volunteering.
